Simple terms for making things.

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Moritory governing your access to moritory.com, Moritory Studio, and related services that link to these Terms (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you may bind that organization.

2. The Service

Moritory provides a creative production workspace for organizing stories, screenplays, characters, scenes, props, storyboards, shot plans, media references, and render instructions. The Service may allow you to export a ZIP package for use with tools on your own computer.

Features described as planned, experimental, preview, beta, or not yet implemented are not guaranteed. We may add, change, limit, or remove features as the product develops.

3. Accounts and security

You sign in through Google and Supabase Auth. You are responsible for maintaining control of your Google account, devices, browser sessions, and downloaded files. Information you provide must be accurate, and you may not access another person’s account.

Notify support@moritory.com promptly if you reasonably believe your Moritory account or session has been compromised.

4. Your content and ownership

You retain ownership of the stories, scripts, prompts, project data, media, and other content you submit or create through the Service (“User Content”). These Terms do not transfer ownership of your User Content to Moritory.

You grant Moritory a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, format, and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and provide the Service. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup retention and legal requirements.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit and use your User Content and that doing so does not violate law, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.

Moritory and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, software, interface, brand, and documentation, excluding User Content.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Break the law, facilitate harm, abuse, exploitation, fraud, or unauthorized surveillance.
• Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Upload malware, interfere with security, probe for vulnerabilities, or disrupt the Service.
• Access accounts or data without authorization, scrape the Service at abusive volume, or evade usage limits.
• Misrepresent generated or edited material in a way that unlawfully deceives or harms others.
• Resell, reverse engineer, or reproduce protected parts of the Service except where the law expressly permits it.

6. Third-party services and local exports

The Service relies on third parties such as Google, Supabase, and Hostinger. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply. Moritory is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Render packages, scripts, commands, prompts, and media references exported by Moritory are provided for you to review and run locally. You are responsible for your computer, FFmpeg installation, provider accounts, content licenses, backups, output quality, and any costs or consequences from local or third-party processing.

Future AI-provider integrations may have separate terms, rates, restrictions, and output policies. We will identify those connections before you choose to use them.

7. Availability, changes, and fees

We aim to provide a reliable Service, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider outages, or circumstances beyond our control. You should keep independent backups and periodically export important work.

Moritory may introduce paid features in the future. Any price and payment terms will be presented before you incur a charge. We will not charge you merely because you created a current free account.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or others, comply with law, address material or repeated violations, or discontinue the Service.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, and general terms—will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Moritory does not provide legal advice, guarantee that generated or user-supplied content is accurate or rights-cleared, or guarantee compatibility with every local system or third-party provider.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moritory will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, opportunity, goodwill, or data; or harm arising from third-party services or local execution. Moritory’s total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Moritory for the Service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim or EUR 100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. General terms and contact

Applicable law and courts will be determined by the rules that legally apply to Moritory and your relationship with us, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; Moritory may transfer them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement concerning the Service unless additional written terms apply.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
